DOWN AND DERBY...

Last night was so dang exciting!!! Tyce took 1st place out of 23 scouts in his pinewood derby..YES I still can't believe it, I don't think Tyce can either (haha). But really I can't expect any less with the help of his dad who we all know is very handy in building things and Tyce has got some of those skills also which is a good thing. I was telling Tyce this today and I said poor Jex I think has my skills which is not many but at least we are fun to be around right?? Tyce needed this so bad in his life right now sometimes being 1st gives you a little boost in life when you need it the most!! And no those are not stickers on his car his aunt Melissa painted it free hand, she is an amazing artist, I think that totally helped in winning the race:)Thanks to all of our family who came out and supported our Hootdog he is a special boy and loved by lots and lots of people!!

TYCE'S FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL...

Tyce started the 3rd grade,WOW time flies when your kid is in school and the homework gets harder!! Poor guy his mom is not very smart I decided...haha but luckily he is a very very smart kid I can't believe how he catches on to things. He is so good about just gettin up and ready he seems to really enjoy school mostly his friends but whatever keeps him focused right? He is also very by the rules kind of boy he listen to every word his teachers say and he will not stray what so ever, even down to what kind of drink he will take?? It's quite funny I must say:) I had to pull some teeth to get this cute picture of him but it was worth it, he is such a stud if I say so myself...

JEX IS OFF TO PRESCHOOL...

Yes our little Jexster started preschool this year it more to help cut the umbilical cord,he is a very attached child!! So the first day Tyce and I were getting ready and Tyce came up to me and said "Mom I would really like to go with you to take Jex to school I want to check it out." So I let him be late for school and come with us, we started putting his backpack away and then Tyce helped him take his shoes off cause it's a no shoe school,well as we headed downstairs the tears started it was so sad and Mrs. Jennie had to hold him so that we could leave. As we were walking out Tyce said "Poor Jex he has to learn to get use to school, maybe next year mom we should try the little red school house." I said "I don't think it's the school I think he just wants us:)" I just loved that Tyce is such a little man and taking care of all of us. This will be about his 3rd week now and he has cried everytime but this very last time he said "Mom i'm not going to cry anymore" cause he loves Mrs. Jennie!!!!

FISH FARM...

For Tyce's Birthday party I thought how about the fish farm all boys love fish.. and it turns out I was right they LOVED the fish!! It was such a fun thing to do with all those crazy boys after they caught their fish with their poles they all thought it would be a good idea to try and catch one with their hands I thought for sure somebody would fall in! As the boy's caught their fish we soon realized their were no men there to get the fish off the hooks for us so thanks to my aunt DD she was a trooper and took all the fish off for me:) For all the mom's of the boys I choose not to keep the fish cause they didn't have much meat on them and I really didn't want to haul all that fish home YUCK! But the poor boys were disappointed in me.. sorry boys!

TYCE TURNS 9 ON 09/19/09!!!!

I CAN'T BELIEVE MY LITTLE BOY IS 9 WOW HOW TIME FLIES...I TOTALLY REMEMBER IT LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY THE DOCTORS RUSHING ME TO TAKE HIM C-SECTION CAUSE THE CORD WAS WRAPPED AROUND HIS LITTLE NECK AND OVER HEARING THEM TALK ABOUT THIER NEW CARS AND THE MOMENT THEY SHOWED HIM TO ME HOW EMOTIONAL IT WAS TO ACTUALLY HAVE A BABY I REMEMBER HIS DARK BROWN HAIR AND HOW TINY HE WAS ALSO THE FIRST TIME I LOOKED AT HIM AND HIM LOOKING AT ME CAUSE I THOUGHT FOR SOME REASON BABIES DIDN'T OPEN THEIR EYES LIKE BIRDS FOR ABOUT A WEEK...HAHA!! TYCE IS SUCH A SPECIAL PERSON IN MY LIFE I HAVE ENJOYED EVERY SINGLE DAY WITH HIM EVEN WHEN HE IS NAUGHTY,ALL THE FUN NIGHTS WE HAVE STAYED UP LATE TALKING IN MY BED,WATCHING OUR FAVORITE SHOWS HOW IT'S MADE,CAKE BOSS,I CARLY, ALL THE FIRSTS IN LIFE SCHOOL,SPORTS,FRIENDS,WATCHING HIM WITH HIS BROTHERS AND HOW SWEET HE IS,GETTING HIS FIRST TOOTH AND LOSING HIS FIRST TOOTH. THERE IS JUST SO MUCH THAT I LOVE ABOUT HIM THAT IT WOULD TAKE 9 PLUS YEARS TO WRITE IT ALL BUT MAN HE IS ONE AWESOME KID AND IM PROUD TO SAY HE IS MINE!!! LOVE YA HOOTDOG:)

NIGHT OUT ON THE LAKE...

THANKS TO OUR GOOD FRIENDS THE STANDERS WE GOT TO GO OUT ON A BOAT RIDE IT WAS SO FUN...I DECIDED BOATS RELIEVE ALOT OF STRESS SO MY NEXT GOAL IS TO SAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO BUY ONE AND THEN TEACH MYSELF HOW TO DRIVE ONE(HA HA) I CAN'T EVEN DRIVE A STICK SHIFT...ANY WHOO TYCE GOT UP ON THE WAKEBOARD FOR THE FIRST TIME HE IS SO AMAZING HE PRETTY MUCH DO ANYTHING HE PUTS HIS MIND TO, HE HAS LOTS OF COORDINATION I GIVE ALL THE TALENT CREDIT TO HIS DADDY. JEX HAD A COMPLETE MELT DOWN WHEN I DECIDED I WANTED TO WAKEBOARD HE JUST DIDN'T THINK MOM'S SHOULD DO THAT(WHAT A SWEETPEA HE IS)! AND CREW PRETTY MUCH SMILED THE ENTIRE TIME I KNOW WHAT'S NEW BUT REALLY HE LOVED IT ALSO...

RODEO!!

ME AND MY HOT COWBOYS WENT TO THE RODEO THIS WEEKEND IT WAS SO FUN, JEX HAD NEVER BEEN TO ONE WHICH WAS KIND-OF SAD BUT THEY BOTH LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT! THE STATE FAIR WAS GOING ON SO AFTER WE BUZZED OVER TO THE GIANT SLIDE IT BROUGHT THE KID OUT IN ME I LOVED IT AS MUCH AS THEY DID:)
