WINTER 2010

We had a amazing winter time again!! From the family Grizswald get together cutting the christmas tree down to christmas parties and lots and lots of food! It was a little different christmas yet very humbling for me, my boys were with their dad for christmas eve night until christmas mid afternoon so yes I was all alone, but it made me really think of what christmas is all about and how greatful i am to have 3 happy healthy boys and such amazing family members and friends all around me 24/7 so i had no complaints that i was alone as long as everyone was happy and healthy!! I will though be soooo excited to have them this christmas morning:)

MEMORIAL DAY BASEBALL TOURNAMENT!

Im sure all of you know I am so not a sports person but you know I have been blessed with 3 boys so I guess I better start liking it! I have enjoyed watching Tyce over the years and he has grown into such an awesome player and it has made me really enjoy the game. This weekend he played so well! I found out recently that it is only considered a hit if they get on base(haha) I have just been proud of him whenever he hits the ball but now he has come so far in the game that he is getting LOTS of hits and on base!! He usually plays out in left or right field and then sometimes he plays catcher which he really likes and he is really good at also. I do love that im so lost about the game that win or lose doesn't bother me and it has rubbed off on to Tyce and he doesn't care also it's just about enjoying the game:) Nothing is funner to me then sitting at his games it makes me proud to say "That's my son out their."

TYCE'S MATH-SCIENCE OLYMIPAD...

Tyce won at school in building a spagetti tower so he got to go to Weber State to compete againest other schools and he took 3rd place! He is such an amazing child I swear he can build anything out of nothing! He had to come up with his own idea of a tower made out of 29 spagetti noodles,5 marshmellos,1 piece of tape,and it had to be able to hold up a ping pong ball and it was 47cm tall. I love that if I was stranded on an Island I would love to be stranded with him cause I know he could totally build us an awesome fort out of anything:)

JEX PRESCHOOL GRADUATION!!

Ya we are so happy for bucket he passed his first year of preschool,just one more year to go and then it's off to kindergarten!! At the beginning he was so shy and cried when we would leave him and by the end of the year he got up and spoke in front of everyone I was so proud of him,I was never the type of kid that could speak in front of everyone!

ST. GEORGE 2010

Grandma and Grandpa Bowden took us to St. George for a weekend the WHOLE gang:) We got to stay at this awesome resort..Again we played played and played some more!! My poor grandma got to ride with me and my noisy boys the whole way, yes she is still speaking to us..haha It was such a nice getaway its always fun to play with the fam!!

DISNEYLAND 2010

Grandma and Grandpa Barber took us on a fabulous trip to disneyland!! It was such a blast,it is by far one of my favorite places in the world:) We left on a tuesday and came home on sunday but I still could have stayed longer for sure. We covered every inch of both parks we were not going to miss one ride or parade. The boys were such a blast and the weather was perfect:) Can't wait to go back!!!

CHRISTMAS 2009....

We had another great christmas this year!! The boys did not go without anything they pretty much got everything they wanted and more!! Santa did hook them up with a new little puppy,she is a shit-zu and her name is Vixen they have really enjoyed her and have been taking really good care of her:)

GRANDPA GARY....

This month has been quite interesting but at the same time the most humbling time for me. On December 9,2009 we lost our grandpa but up until the day he passed we spent over 5 days in the hospital just watching him lay there and never wake up. I have always believed there is reason people wait before they pass and now looking back I totally believe it was for our sake as a family to be reminded what's important in life and who are important in life. Over the years we all have kind of gone our own ways and became very busy with our selves and our own lives and it was so nice to be cooped up in a hospital waiting room to where we even had to snuggle and actually get to know each other again and talk about old times and about things we were going to miss about our grandpa. If any of you knew my grandpa he was a funny man,he wasn't really the grandpa that you would jump on his lap when you saw him but you just knew he loved you with his chuckle:) On the last day Brock gave him an awesome blessing and later that night as we all where in his room he passed,it was such a spiritual amazing thing I know that's a wierd thing to say but to feel the spirit that much and all be together as a family was something I will never forget!!

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA 2009....

This is such a fun thing to do we have gone I think 3 times now and I just love it!! They have a huge breakfast,cookie decorating,painting faces,singers,a drawing,and the kids get to fill up a candy bag:)

SETTING UP CHRISTMAS WITH THE ELVES...

So this is what the boys came up with when we were decorating for christmas!! They are so entertaining 24/7 they make me laugh:) We also started a new little tradition instead of making real messy gingerbread houses I found a way to make fake ones out of paper and the best part is we can keep them and put them up every year!! Looks like we are off to a great holiday year,how could you not when you have these boys around,right??
